Lyrics:

We remember the thunder of gunfire,
we remember remote lands,
Every year and every day
parched by the war.
They don’t grow old in their souls,
the veterans don’t grow old in their souls,
The veterans of World War Two!

Let our old wounds hurt sometimes –
Our way to the Victory,
friends, was tough!
They don’t grow old in their souls,
the veterans don’t grow old in their souls,
The veterans of World War Two!

It’s still too early for us to retire,
Our hearts don’t surrendersince
they don’t need the rest.
They don’t grow old in their souls,
the veterans don’t grow old in their souls,
The veterans of World War Two!

Lasting peace on Earth
we must strengthen diligently,
But we’re always ready
for the frontline’s destiny!
They don’t grow old in their souls,
the veterans don’t grow old in their souls,
The veterans of World War Two!

Incredible performance and a fine tribute to the Red Amy that defeated Nazi Germany almost single-handedly.

Amazing performance--hasn’t lost a thing over the years. What power! What emotion! The expression we use in the West is “selling a song”, and Leonid does it like no one else can.
